He's only the cutest little guy you'll ever meet. Okay, maybe we're a little biased but he's definitely a keeper! Born on April 4, 2011, this little guy has had our hearts in the palm of his little hands since day one. The first year of his life was without a fun one. There was a lot for both of us to learn and learn we did. There are so many firsts that have come and passed so quickly and I have treasured every one of them, most of them have been documented here on the blog. He's growing fast and every day he's learning something new and getting excited about something else. As we are nearing the end of year 2, it's clear to me how special life is. It's been a great year and one of many laughs, many tears, many smiles and many joys. At (almost) 2, Alex is trying to talk up a storm as he learns new words daily. He's starting to ask for what he wants by talking or leading us into the kitchen to show us he wants a drink. He continues to carry out his love of music and has a newfound love for Dinosaurs, carrying one with him everywhere he goes. He wants to wear his snowboots everywhere and is full of hugs and smiles.

Thank you for reading, life is great and when you add the love and comfort of a child, it becomes fun and more beautiful than you could ever imagine.
